Springtime Fun!

Back at UCR's botanical garden for some spring time pictures. Just a typical day in southern California. Thanks to my model (better known as my cousin) for working the camera for me! Happy springin' :)

The Wedding Reception

Here are some pictures from my brother's wedding reception this past weekend held in Long Beach. The ceremony itself was held in Tennessee - hometown of the bride. She looked beautiful, and needless to say, the color scheme was zebra and pink - her favorites. Stephen's mom, sister, and aunt did a great job planning the party and I really enjoyed seeing family members. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Mayronne!

Shane & Shantelle: Love in the Garden

Meet Shane and Shantelle (: Now, these two have to be the most outgoing pair I've worked with thus far. They were so fun to shoot, and didn't need a whole lot of direction since they weren't shy at all in front of the camera. Such a picture perfect couple, and I would love to shoot with them again, any day!

The Sweetest Side Of Love

Last night, a non-profit organization known as "Change.in.LOVE" led by Veronica Pome'e hosted a pre-tasting party for their upcoming Valentine's Day bake sale fundraiser. This group's mission is to work towards bettering themselves through the process of helping others and spreading love.

Aside from the bake sale, the event itself was a major success. The guest turnout was great and the event included other attractions such as a makeup booth, a raffle contest with various donated prizes, as well as a booth of beautiful hand-made jewelry and vintage fashions by Aleah Clark (www.creativenatiive.com). I was there on the scene for photos of the night. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was full of positive vibes - one more step in the right direction towards positive change! Great work Change.in.LOVE!

Frank & Akimi: Style and class

Frank and Akimi! Two words that best describe them? Stylish and classy! The engaged two were so easy going and a pleasure to work with. It was a wet and cloudy day, but we managed to get some great shots in (: The two will marry this year, and Akimi has been putting so much work into planning the wedding - I can hardly wait until the day finally arrives! Best wishes. xoxo.

Justin & Mara: High School Sweethearts

I met Justin and Mara a few years ago - we actually worked together at a Filipino restaurant. The two met in high school and have been together ever since. They're now engaged and I had the honor of taking their engagement photos. The weather was suspect at first, but it turned out to be a perfect day for pictures. I brought my brother along for assistance, and between my brother's random outbursts and Justin's wisecracks - Mara's laid-back personality evened it all out :) Needless to say, it was a great shoot - and when you're around these two, there's no doubt that what they have is true and rare.

I hold these two dear to my heart on a personal level and wish nothing but a promising future to the both of them!

"I love everything about you."
